RQAW provided the on-call contract administrative oversight and construction inspection for the $6.1M INDOT contract B-34834 multiple bridge structure reconstruction project on US 41 and US 50 near Vincennes. The project included bridge deck, bridge approach, bridge joint, bridge bearing, and barrier rail replacements; end bent repairs; structural steel heat straightening; and structural steel bridge coatings of multi-span structures. Administration elements included IDEM Rule 5 Permit and extensive coordination with the CSXT railroad. The project was completed in 2017, under bid cost, with reduced durations of MOT lane restrictions.
