RQAW | DCCM evaluated Greene County’s immediate and future jail housing needs and determined that they needed a housing pod addition. After our evaluation, it was determined this project was designed in a way that met immediate needs while addressing the future needs, they could afford at the time. The design also included new intake and booking areas that incorporated components to improve the ability to deal with mental health and medical issues. Renovation of the existing facility included, but was not limited to, expanding the programming and attorney-client conference spaces, and relocating laundry and other administrative spaces.
