RQAW | DCCM is the Owner’s Representative and leading the environmental and front-end design services for the I-70 Design/Build. In this section, the RQAW | DCCM team is designing 1.1 miles west of Mt. Comfort Road to 1.3 miles east of SR 9 on I-70. The goal of this project is to increase capacity in addition to providing the following activities:

• Approximately 10 miles of added travel lanes in both directions
• Interchange modernization to meet current standards
• Pavement rehabilitation and reconstruction
• On-Ramp reconfiguration to include a multi-lane entrance ramp and an eastbound exit that will taper into a two-lane off-ramp
• Multiple bridge replacements and rehabilitations
• New signage, lighting, and ITS tower relocation and fiber extension
• Multiple small structure replacements
• Drainage construction and upgrades
