RQAW | DCCM is currently designing a new two-story Town Hall and Police Station for the Town of Griffith. The facility will be approximately 27,000 sf and is designed to meet the needs of the varying departments, including Clerk/Treasurer, Building Department, Public Works, and Police. The structure will be steel frame with concrete slab over composite metal deck at the floors and a metal roof deck at the roof. The interior partitions will be steel stud construction. There will be one machine room-less elevator and three steel pan stairs with concrete toppers. There will also be two pull-in sally port bays and one bay for evidence storage. The intent of the design is to provide a serviceable, functional structure at as reasonable a cost as possible.
